K.MARA offers a range of professional waxing treatments. From eyebrow waxing to intimate waxing. We cover all of your personal care needs.
To maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety, we have a strict no double dipping policy to prevent any cross contamination. The wax specialist wears gloves for the entirety of the treatment. Equipment and beauty bed are cleaned and disinfected between each client. In addition to this we follow strict hygiene protocol on the desired waxing area, using medical grade antiseptic which is suitable for sensitive skin. We do this is to minimise any risk of infection or irritation.
K.MARA prioritises the health of your skin whilst delivering smooth hair-free results. We achieve this by using Cirepil's professional-grade, hypoallergenic hot wax on intimate and sensitive areas. Soft wax is used on larger areas to deliver efficient, clean hair removal.
Hair should be at least ΒΌ inch (about the length of a grain of rice) before your waxing appointment. This optimal length allows the wax to effectively grip the hair for smooth and thorough removal. If the hair is shorter than this, waxing may be less effective and could cause discomfort or skin irritation. For clients who have recently shaved or have very fine hair, we advise waiting at least two to three weeks before booking a waxing session to achieve the best results and maintain skin health.
Absolutely! Just let the specialist know beforehand. Keep your skin clean and dry on the day of your visit. Lotions or oils can interfere with the wax.
Wear comfortable loose clothing.
Consider scheduling your wax at a time when you are not on your menstrual cycle, as your skin may be more sensitive.
If you are sensitive to pain, please consider taking a paracetamol 30 minutes prior to your appointment.
Avoid sun exposure and heated treatments (saunas, hot tubs, sunbeds) for a least 24 hours prior to your wax.
